Results
When are the B1 Preliminary for Schools exam results released?
The result Statement of Results is sent online, in the case of a paper exam within 4 weeks, and in the case of a computer exam within 5-10 days.
When will you receive your B1 Preliminary for Schools certificate?
We receive your certificate after another 2 weeks after the publication of the results and inform you immediately.
The grading scale for the B1 Preliminary for Schools exam
You will receive separate points from each test paper (Reading, Writing, Listening, Speaking), which will make your results for each part clearer. The average of these 4 marks will determine the final result.
The following scale applies to the B1 Preliminary for Schools exam:
- 160-170 points | Grade A | CEFR: B2
- 153-159 points | Grade B | CEFR: B1
- 140-152 points | Grade C | CEFR: B1
- 120-139 points | Level A2 | CEFR: A2
